Hi My name is Brad Williams and I am the Southern Regional Network Manager for Britannia Rescue. On the 14th July a colleague Nigel Smith from LV and I are undertaking a self-organised cycling challenge from Catania Sicily to Venice Italy the route we are taking is approximately 1000 miles over 9 days! We are doing this with no support team, nothing booked and no cooking equipment, just relying on our tents and maps to get through the trip. We have chosen to do it this way as we are then able to adapt should we have good or bad days due to the varying terrain.
I hear you ask: Why would you do this? – We’re doing this for the challenge but also to raise awareness and money in aid of a great charity RISC (Recovery industry support charity) it’s a worthwhile charity providing support to breakdown and recovery staff who have been injured during a work related accident. LV=Britannia Rescue have agreed to support this event by matching charity donations up to the first £1000

Kind Regards Brad
